In My Mailbox #12

In My Mailbox is a great meme from The Story Siren.  If you'd like to take part, the details, visit The Story Siren's IMM page.

I have had an AWESOME book week this week, which has gone hand in hand with some very loud squealing and plenty of book hugging!  My son thinks I'm crazy - he could very well be right.

I received one book for review this week.  The cover on my book is different to the one I'm going to show you as I couldn't find a match online:

Paperback Edition (with thanks to Kate at Holler & Hodder and Stoughton)

Next are the books I bought:

Kindle Edition

THE IRON WITCH by Karen Mahoney

Paperback Edition

I am currently reading this one.

INSIDE OUT by Maria V. Snyder

Paperback Edition

UNEARTHLY by Cynthia Hand

Hardcover Edition

(Wow!  What an amazing cover!)

XVI by Julia Karr

Paperback Edition

THE IRON KING by Julie Kagawa

Paperback Edition

Now you see why I was making so much noise?  All my Christmas money books that were stuck in the post arrived!  What did you get in your mailbox this week?

The Knife of Never Letting Go is one of my favourite books - the whole choas walking trilogy is so well done! Hope you like it!

Rest of your books look good as well - I have Inside Out arrive this week too. :)

Nice haul!

I made a post about Jean Auel's Earth's Children series on my blog a few days ago. I love the series and am currently re-reading them. I'm about to start the 4th one. Can't wait to see what you think of it.

I've got Inside Out here to read too and am looking forward to it. Might read it next when my current book is done.

I just just got XVI too!

Very envious of your Iron King and Unearthly. Sighs. kiss them hello for me.

Inside Out! *cheers* I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

You got so many wonderful books this week! I'm currently reading XVI, it's pretty good so far. Although I'm only around 50 pages in, so I can't really judge how good it's going to be. :)

How are you liking The Iron Witch? I've bought a copy, I'm just waiting for it to arrive. It sounds so good :D

The Clan of the Cave Bear is one of my favourite books so I hope you enjoy it. Be warned that it has quite a slow start - you need to wade through a fair few pages of historical background before you get to the fantastic plot.

Oh.. you got some good books as well.!

RYN: as for sleeping.. >.< we readers are just... well ya know lol

Fantastic books! I can't wait to read The Iron Witch, looking forward to review of that one. I loved Unearthly, I need to go buy a copy of it so I can stare at that ridiculously pretty cover:) Looking forward to your thoughts on The Iron King too, I adore that series!

I loved Unearthly (and a lot of people seem to as well). Don't be fooled by the cover though, it doesn't have anything to do with the book, hahaha!

I keep hearing about the Clan of the Cave Bear but I have no idea what it is about!

Great lot of books you have here. Oh, I also like the cover for Inside Out. Don't know why, I just do.

I've read The Knife of Never Letting Go and I kind of liked it - it was good writing, but some bits just got strange, and other bits were just too sad! I'd kind of like to know what happens next, but I'm not sure I can bring myself to read it.
I got The Iron Witch too - I love it so far! My IMM is here: The Book Bundle

Wow I would totally be squealing and hugging my books too. :P Nice haul! I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts on all of these books. I really need to get to reading some of them myself :P

Oooh you're reading the Iron Witch! Can't wait to read your review! I agree, the cover of Unearthly is gorgeous! I'm really looking forward to reading it! I'm not sure how I feel about the premise of XVI... I haven't heard too much about it. Looking forward to your review on that one too! Happy reading!

Wow, wow, wow. Seriously amazing mailbox. These are all books I want to read myself! And I believe you're the 3rd English blogger that I've seen so far that was sent Clan of the Cave Bear (even though it was originally released in the 1980s!). Never read the book myself, but the movie was pretty good.

You really did have an incredible mailbox this week. I have the entire Iron Fey series (out so far anyway) and can't wait to start it! I've also heard wonderful things about Unearthly. Hope you enjoy all your books this week!

You had a great haul too! I want the Iron Witch and would love to start the Iron Fey series soon!

I'm also going to make a lot of noise if I were the one who received all those books, maybe even run outside and disturb all the neighbors - okay so that's too much, but it's really awesome!

By the way, thank you for dropping by my blog, and I almost did the above-mentioned ruckus when I found the feature, although I just settled with writing a post about it :D And no problem, it's my pleasure to have saved you from reading a bad book :D
