Between Shades of Gray Giveaway

If you saw my In My Mailbox (The Excuse Edition) post last weekend, you'll know I ended up with two copies of Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys, which means my lovely readers, that I have a brand new spare copy to give away!
Goodreads synopsis:

Lina is just like any other fifteen-year-old Lithuanian girl in 1941. She paints, she draws, she gets crushes on boys. Until one night when Soviet officers barge into her home, tearing her family from the comfortable life they've known. Separated from her father, forced onto a crowded and dirty train car, Lina, her mother, and her young brother slowly make their way north, crossing the Arctic Circle, to a work camp in the coldest reaches of Siberia. Here they are forced, under Stalin's orders, to dig for beets and fight for their lives under the cruelest of conditions.

Lina finds solace in her art, meticulously—and at great risk—documenting events by drawing, hoping these messages will make their way to her father's prison camp to let him know they are still alive. It is a long and harrowing journey, spanning years and covering 6,500 miles, but it is through incredible strength, love, and hope that Lina ultimately survives. Between Shades of Gray is a novel that will steal your breath and capture your heart.
Before I go any further, I will say now that this is for UK Followers only I'm afraid due to the outrageously high overseas postal charges for parcels.  Seriously, it's cheaper for me to buy a book from The Book Depository and get it shipped free than it is to send a book I already have in my home, to some countries.  Do not worry though as very soon I will be having a 300 followers giveaway which will be International.

So do you fancy your chances?  There are some pretty basic rules:
  • You must be in the UK or have a UK postal address.
  • You must be over 13 years of age (if you're not you can get a parent/guardian to enter for you - just ask them to email me also so I know).
  • You must be a GFC Follower of this blog, old or new.
  • The giveaway will close on Friday 20th May 2011 at midnight GMT.
Once I have drawn a winner using Random.org, they will have 72 hours to respond to my email with their postal details.  If they do not respond then I will draw another winner.  (If you are planning to be away and/or unable to access your email around the closure date, you can still enter, but please email me as soon as you've entered to let me know that you wont be able to respond straight away, or even include your postal address so you prize will be waiting for you when you get home!)

If you're all OK with that, then fill in this form, and GOOD LUCK!
