In My Mailbox #38

In My Mailbox is a great meme from The Story Siren.  If you'd like to take part, visit The Story Siren's IMM page for further details.

This week I broke my book buying ban and downloaded a Kindle book.  I've been wanting this book since it first came out in hardcover, but it was a little too expensive so when I saw this week that the Kindle version was under £4, I had to have it ...

Virals by Kathy Reichs

I had an awesome package through the post this week from Mia at Gripped into Books.  I won a giveaway on her blog for THREE books!

Misguided Angel by Melissa de la Cruz
Blood Magic by Tessa
Pretty Twisted by Gina Blaxill

and also through my mailbox this week were two awesome books for review and tours in September.  I'm really looking forward to reading both of these:

The Last Seal by Richard Denning
(that scene on the cover, just in case you were wondering, is the Great Fire of London)
POD by Stephen Wallenfels

Oo Blood Magic! Such an unusual, unique read! I've also had my eyes on Virals for a while -- I love the show Bones, so Kathy Reichs' caught my eye. Hope you enjoy your new books! Can't wait to see what you think of Virals!

Amazon's Kindle books are dangerous! I always click on the purchase button without thinking and end up with loads of books...will be introducing a book buying ban of my own for August...I need to read some before I'm buried alive!

Some great books there - is the final seal related to the Tomorrow's Guardian series?

Interesting titles! POD seems to have a dystopian feel to it. Enjoy your books!

Virals sounds very interesting. I only read two reviews for it and those readers didn't like it. But it does has a very pretty cover. ;)

Thanks for your lovely comments everyone!

Mel - The Last Seal is the same author but not part of the Tomorrows Guardian series.

It's amazing how much a different background colour can change things. The paperback and hardcover editions of Blood Magic look SO different!

Enjoy your books!
