In My Mailbox #39

In My Mailbox is a great meme from The Story Siren.  If you'd like to take part, visit The Story Siren's IMM page for further details.

This week has been another week of exciting parcels through my door, especially the couple I wasn't expecting yet.  First up are two books I won:

The Opposite of Amber by Gillian Philip (won from Rhiana at Heaven, Hell and Purgatory)
The Truth About Celia Frost by Paula Rawsthorne (won from Kirsty at The Overflowing Library)

These next three are books I've received for review:

The Glassheart Chronicles - Short stories by various authors (with thanks to Fisher Amelie)
The Sleepwalkers by J. Gabriel Gates (with thanks to Netgalley)
Halfway by Stephanie Void (with thanks to Stephanie)

And last but not least, the books I bought this week - yes I know I'm on a book buying ban but I got Skinned and Crashed from Amazon Marketplace for £5 for the two including postage and you know I can't resist a bargain!.  Wolfsbane I wasn't expecting as I thought I'd cancelled all my pre-orders, but The Book Depository make it pretty hard to cancel orders and once again ignored my email and sent the book anyway.

Wolfsbane by Andrea Cremer
Forever by Maggie Stiefvator
Skinned by Robin Wasserman
Crashed by Robin Wasserman

And that's my mailbox this week.  What did you get in yours?

wow the covers are all so pretty!! I still haven't read forever, I'm kinda scared about it. I hate last-in-series books. The Opposite of Amber looks AMAZING I really, really want to read that. Looking forward to your review of it. Haven't heard of skinned and crashed but looking them up now!!

Great variety again Karen! I need to read Nightshade so I can get to Wolsbane...

And I agree Book Depository don't make it easy to change anything once you're pressed that button - say what you will about Amazon but it is user friendly! Maybe that will change now Amazon have bought Book depository...

Great books this week - Halfway looks interesting, and I love the cover for Forever! You're right about TBD - they make it so hard to cancel orders! Hope you enjoy Wolfsbane anyway. Happy reading :).

I got Skinned and Crashed a while back but still haven't gotten around to reading them yet. If you get to them first, I hope you enjoy them :D

I like the sound of Celia Frost, from what I've heard anyway.

What a fun mailbox this week. Many book I've not heard of, will look for reviews to get a feel if they are my types or not.

I see you are going to read The Girl in the Steel Corset next. I'm excited to see if you like it. I really did.

I like that you have a book buying ban with an exception for good deals. :P That's my kind of book buying ban!

Book Depository is so annoying in the way you can't cancel orders and it's so bad!
