In My Mailbox #55

In My Mailbox is hosted by The Story Siren.  You can find out more about this by visiting her blog.

I didn't post an In My Mailbox last week as, for the first time in a year, I didn't receive ANY books!  Well I wasn't going to let that happen again so I had a little splurge and bought myself some Kindle books I've had on my wishlist for a while.

All links are to Goodreads and open in a new window :-)

Poughkeepsie by Debra Anastasia
Wander Dust by Michelle Warren
The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater

In The Darkest Corner by Elizabeth Haynes
Vampire Shift by Tom O'Rourke

I didn't only buy these books this week so I could do an IMM post - I sold some stuff after a huge clear out so I had some pennies to spend.  That's also why I've not been around much in the last couple of weeks.  I really needed to spend some of my free time clearing and cleaning instead of glued to this computer.  I'm glad I did too - it's like a big weight off my shoulders and my house 'feels' so much nicer, even though you can't really tell I've done anything because most of my decluttering has been from inside cupboards.

Anyway, what did you get in your mailbox this week?

I did sell a few things, too a while ago and it's so nice to have new money to spend on books. I really need to read The Scorpio Races soon. Am looking forward to your review:)

I've heard great things about Wanderdust and The Scorpio Races, both of which I have, but haven't read yet. Perhaps your reviews will prod me to read them! :)

It is nice when you clear a bit of space at home. I've been in my flat for a year now and think I need to start clearing some space - at accumulates so quickly!
Interesting books there - hope you enjoy them! :)

I hear you on the decluttering, I've been spending a little time each day as I'm so not a fan of cleaning. I loved The Scorpio Races, hope you do too.

Eeee, I'm dying to read The Scorpio Races! I can't wait to see what you think. I'm not a fan of Maggie's Wolves of Mercy Falls trilogy, so I am holding back on buying TSR.

Oh you just reminded me of Into the Darkest Corner! I've wanted that one for a long time, I'm going to have to line it up for my next splurge!

Great bunch of books you have there!

Yay for decluttering! I feel like I need to declutter and organize every single day. It doesn't happen though, so my room is a mess!

Great books this week. I haven't read any of them, but I've been seeing Poughkeepsie popping up around the blogosphere lately. I'll have to check that one out.

Enjoy your new books!

I wish I could actually work up the energy to clean.. I'm way too lazy. -.-
But anyways, the Scorpio Races looks really good! :) I've heard mixed things about it, but I still want to read it really bad. Enjoy your books!

Personally I hate winter/spring cleaning and I always admire people like with you that have such self-control. I mean, I can barely tear myself away from blogging to do my homework, let alone do major cleaning like that. I'm super excited for Wander Dust, and I want to know what all the hoopla is about The Scorpio Races...

Have a fabulous reading week, Karen!
